    Dear Columbian Family,
    On behalf of the staff here at Columbian Elementary School, I am happy to welcome you to the new school year!  We are looking forward to building on our strong foundation of partnership with you to ensure the students in our school are able to achieve at the highest potential. We understand that in order to be successful in school, our students need support both at home and school. Our staff wants to work with parents as partners to help develop students.  Columbian staff believes in developing great people.  It is not uncommon for students to learn manners, empathy, and leadership along with the district curriculum.
    At Columbian, we need your help with the following:
    1. Students need to be at school each day no later than 8:00.
    2. Students need to read every night for 30 minutes.
    3. Students need to have set schedules and routines for self-care and bed times.
