A tribute to the maritime heritage of beautiful Harbor Springs, Stafford’s Pier Restaurant offers true waterfront dining, quite literally, as the Pier Restaurant was built on original pilings over the harbor. The Pier’s main dining room overlooks the historic yacht basin while offering visitors a superb choice of fresh seafood, Great Lakes fish, steaks and classic Northern Michigan dishes.

The area which is now The Pointer Room is literally “on the water.” Until 1962 it was the boat house for the Harbor Point Association’s water taxi, which ran between Harbor Point and the Village of Harbor Springs. After a complete and authentic restoration, the Pointer Boat is docked at The Pier each summer offering tours through the harbor.

Harbor Springs’ favorite outdoor venue! Guests can enjoy covered dining on the extended upper deck or on the patio area across from the dock – seasonally. Dudley’s Deck was voted best al fresco dining spot in northern Michigan.

Visited Sunday before Labor Day; Betsy, our server was THE BEST. We ordered something different and all 4 of us were VERY satisfied with the quality of our food, as well as it's presentation, especially the dessert. Restaurant location right on the waterfront provided a spectacular view. Highly recommend!!!

We eat at The Pier frequently - most recently my wife’s birthday- and have never been disappointed. From the spectacular setting to the outstanding staff to the excellent food, it’s always a treat - lunch, dinner or just a drink. Jody, the general manager, and her staff always make you feel welcome.

We walked to the three main restaurants that are highly recommended on the various travel websites. This one stood out above the rest right away. It has a modern nautical decor done with class. The menu was straightforward - the prices were reasonable for a tourist town and we all enjoyed our meals. Best in town by far.
